Medical Recreational Blend

An experimental epilepsy drug made from cannabis plants grown in England is complicating the medical marijuana debate in hospitals and statehouses.

The cannabis-based epilepsy drug Epidiolex is a nearly pure extract of cannabidiol, or CBD, with little of the tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, that gets traditional pot users high. CBD products are the current rage in medicinal pot products, and activists fear that if the maker of Epidiolex manages to get FDA approval, it could undercut the political momentum of the medical marijuana movement.

My comment there…

Cannabis is a highly flexible symphonic drug, so is the demonstrable beginning of a medical revolution and medicinal leap.

As recreational legality replaces a flagrantly failed (e.g. very taxpayer expensive, utterly ineffective, and highly destructive) prohibition, the need for medical cannabis will blend in with recreational availability.

That’s not to say there won’t be cannabis products/services dedicated to acutely addressing medical legitimacy, but there won’t be a hard-line distinction superficially, because recreational cannabis use (not abuse) includes health benefit by default.

The “genie is out of the bottle”. Who in their right mind would use a (likely expensive) ‘bloodletting by leeches’ medicine, when they can go to their neighborhood cannabis store to inexpensively and conveniently buy the right modern solution?

The conventional wisdom reinforced by professional medical credentials is one-size-fits-all medicines are necessary for responsible prescription (varying only by dosage). It doesn’t take a medical degree to understand how absurd that convention is in light of cannabis’ success on the medicinal front.

An affordable, very flexible, and symphonic approach to stress management (capable of being customized to an individual’s unique and dynamic stress signature) is a serious game-changer involving health.

That sophistication thankfully replaces the dumb bludgeon of alcohol as the unfortunately popular “stress management” solution at the recreational level.

Cannabis always starts with psychological impact (think Placebo Effect). That alone can dramatically improve health, because cannabis offers a virtually unlimited set of neurological “lenses” to “musically” protect the brain (like Earth’s magnetic field protects us all from solar radiation). If that impact healthily fits, then we can move on to cannabis’ other health qualities likely via the endocannabinoid system.

Experience and education can guide users along the right path of cannabis use to meet their specific needs (cannabis use is an easily learned skill).

I’m a personal caregiver for someone using state-sanctioned cannabis to treat mild-to-sometimes-moderate Alzheimer’s disease. The results so far (after about a year) literally brilliantly compete on all levels with standard AD pharmaceuticals with their harsh side effects only capable of addressing symptoms, but cannabis additionally offers hope by apparently fighting the disease itself, as steadily witnessed by multiple (and intellectually and honorably) credible people in our lives.

And when you consider the fact (yes, fact) that no experimental science proves any harm from cannabis use, it’s a no-brainer to figure out which side of this fierce debate to control this plant is honorable and productive on a societal level — those people whom respect cannabis.

I'm an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an entertainer working and resting as my careful contribution to help improve society. Too many people abuse reasoning (e.g. 'partial truth = whole truth' scam), while I exercise reason to explore and express whole truth without any conflict-of-interest.
