Hypocrisy Epidemic

Maine could become the first state to add addiction to prescribed opioids and illegal narcotics like heroin to its list of conditions that qualify for medical marijuana. […]

Joseph Legendre, 50, of Mount Vernon, choked back tears as he spoke about the pain he endured after hurting his back 26 years ago at construction site and how marijuana finally eased that pain. Britney Lashier, 23, of Saco, said smoking marijuana helped her break a heroin addiction she picked up in Morocco while studying in college.

“Marijuana saved my life for sure,” she said.

Meanwhile in Massachusetts, major government figures united to oppose cannabis legalization on grounds of the opioid “epidemic” (affecting roughly hundreds of people among millions obviously in a non-viral way).

They warn us of the dangers of the “big marijuana” industry against public health (especially the children).

They “secretly” prefer the dangers of the big marijuana prohibition industry instead, while failing to do anything but fail in their preferred law enforcement based “solution” to the opioid “crisis” at terribly serious taxpayer expense (i.e. ample waste).

Drug addiction is obviously a health (not criminal) issue by any exercise of sanity.

Cannabis is a highly flexible stress management solution (not “dope”) upon proper use, which is an easy skill to learn — one that obviously can (and does) help safely guide addicts away from the terrible cycle of euphoric abuse and hellish withdrawal until death do they part.

Hypocrisy (especially combined with power) is the real epidemic spanning the globe at serious risk/danger to everyone.

It’s time to replace the metaphorical crickets chirping in response to those facts with positive community traction, right?

I'm an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an entertainer working and resting as my careful contribution to help improve society. Too many people abuse reasoning (e.g. 'partial truth = whole truth' scam), while I exercise reason to explore and express whole truth without any conflict-of-interest.
