Balance Over Drugs & Guns

From “Federal court upholds ban on gun sales to medical marijuana card holders” (the Cannabist):

Actually, I have nothing to cite here. The title of the prompting article says enough, so let us move on to my commentary.

Political spin (this is apparently more about gun control by the notoriously leftist ninth circuit) aside, this is just another metaphorical (and ironically hypocritical) gun shot by our law-abusing “public servants” flagrantly against the crystal clear second amendment inclusively stating without exception “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”.

You can be soberly distressed or drunk and conveniently legally fire off rounds (background checks perhaps successfully/unsuccessfully involved, and black market gun acquisition due to Certain Gun Prohibition also applies here), but if you are using a strain of the cannabis plant (e.g. Cheese) that nicely but powerfully encourages composure (so logically makes you a better shooter), then screw your constitutional rights.

Cannabis is not alcohol (nor alcohol plus, nor such).

Alcohol (by default) at a very low intake threshold crosses the user into increased risk of stupidity.

Cannabis does not. There are admittedly somewhat disorienting strains (more so at larger intake amounts) and strain combinations (a.k.a. salads), but there are also perfectly stable ones that the user can easily choose, and cannabis does not affect the ‘wisdom’ part of the brain (aside from beneficially improving composure, which is obviously needed for competence, when desired by the responsible user).

Overall, I am exhausted by the ridiculous notion that sober people are superior.

Cannabis culture has already crushingly debunked that notion, and the war on (some) drugs is ironically the demonstrable basis.

For several decades, sober people aggressively attacked cannabis culture with overwhelmingly dominant money, guns, muscles, law, media, and the public. The undeniable result is cannabis culture is not only surviving against that continuous and lengthy onslaught, but thriving against it.

Gun control fails for the same reason that drug control fails. Prohibition is presented as “grabbing the bull by the horns”, but in actuality, prohibition is pathetically (and taxpayer expensively) trying to “sweep the problem under the rug”.

Drugs and guns are not the problem.

People being horribly stressed out (likely by a coercive oligarchy spanning the private and public sectors largely selfishly driving society into the ground) enough to abuse drugs and/or guns is the relevant problem here.

Balance is needed for stability in literally any system (including a human being). That must include a balance between a healthy work and healthy rest ethic, but society largely stupidly keeps driving us all into more work equals societal advantage.

Progressively pressing for balance for everyone (i.e. strengthening society) is the obvious solution — an enormous elephant in the room being ignored for oligarchical power demands.

I'm an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an entertainer working and resting as my careful contribution to help improve society. Too many people abuse reasoning (e.g. 'partial truth = whole truth' scam), while I exercise reason to explore and express whole truth without any conflict-of-interest.
